Single Crystal X-ray Diffractometer
Here at Saint Mary's University, the workhorse for the Masuda group is our Bruker/Siemens SMART diffractometer that was updated when I started at SMU (2010) with a new APEXII detector, an Oxford Cryoflex sample cooler and with other various add-ons to bring this 20 yr old system up to speed. It is near the end of its life and can be temperamental, but it keeps on diffracting with periodic TLC.
